Homemade carnitas a success. #paleo #noms will be guaranteed this week. (at Sniper seat in Ben’s Backyard)
Recipe:
4 pounds pork roast (I used sirloin)
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Cumin
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Cinnamon Stick
Add everything but the Cinnamon stick to roast in bowl and cover, then move to pot and add Cinnamon stick, fill with water till covered. Put in oven at 350F for 4 hours, shred then put back in for another 2 1/2-3
