Friday night’s I’ll be doing my attempt at the WODs for the CrossFit Open. I did them last year and gave it another go this year. I love what the Open teaches you about yourself. I know that I’m not going to regionals, except as a spectator of course, but taking on workouts programmed to push me against myself and allow me a measurement against so many others is great. Workout 13.1 was as follows:
17 Min AMRAP
30 Snatch @75lbs
30 Snatch @135lbs
30 Snatch @165lbs
As many reps possible of Snatch at 205lbs
Burpees include a 2 handed touch of object 6 inches overhead, Snatch can by any style.
Score: 113 That’s 13 reps into the 135lbs Snatch.
Can you tell how much I hate Burpees? Seriously I’m not fast at them, and being a big guy does not help me here. But I have to give big thanks to Blonyx for the shirt and product, it’s been a huge help in my recovery. Can’t tell you how much it’s helped me feel less sore the next day after workouts like this.

Well there ya go, no weight since I don’t check the scale anymore but clothes are a little more roomy around the waist, tighter in the quads and shoulders as I’ve been putting some muscle on thanks to my adherence to The Outlaw Way.
