Text 2 Oct 1 note Back to the writing game…..Clean Your Plate-Day 1

October is a food challenge for Capital City CrossFit, has been every year since I started CrossFit in 2011. So this year I’m doing it again even though there’s not much change to follow the challenge. However this year it’s a little different in that you can customize what you’re doing for the challenge and we have included a team aspect bringing in three other affiliates to do the challenge with us. I’m focusing on cleaning up things a bit, but more than that I’m focused on the lifestyle portion of the challenge. I’m going to work to get more sleep, read more, do more fun activities and work to improve my life in other areas besides just working and working out. 

Here’s my day 1 pictures because what’s a challenge without a little documentation.

Pretty obvious that I’m still working to put muscle back and trim out from my time at Fort Sill. Doesn’t help that the weekend was drill so we were fed MRE’s and Pizza. I’m going to be mindful of my intake, clean out the crap, hit the gym hard and be a generally more focused this month during the challenge. Looking to rock this thing and get into November ready to go hard throughout the holidays. I’m also including a personal challenge to keep this more updated with what’s been going on in life and write more. Bring on the month of self improvement…..
